Tony Harrison was at home alone when something strange happened. He had just picked up one of the fake Master Swords in the Lost Woods, when there was some sort of power failure. All progress was lost. In the darkness, the only thing visible was the huge mirror which he couldn't remember ever having hung up on his living room wall. It was glowing in a weird colour, unlike anything he had ever seen. He reached towards it, and felt his hand go through the glass and into... something else.
He sat down for a while. Was this phenomenon really something he wanted to investigate further? He felt drawn towards it, like it was his destiny or something. He had lost his progress anyway, what would it matter? He sighed, and pushed his body through the mirror.
Meanwhile, a group of scientists working at the ISS were on a field mission of sorts. A cluster of stars had formed in their vicinity, and was spinning around in circles, sometimes forming patterns that seemed to break the laws of physics.
Dr. Thorgerson noted that it resembled a portal, a gate they could go through in their spacecraft. The others argued that they had no way of knowing what laid on the other sides, and that there was a considerable chance they would be torn apart by the cluster if they came too close.
However, nothing interesting had happened in quite some time, so they decided to go through it anyway.
